This article gives instructions on moving a site from a ‘devel’ sub-directory on your server to the root web directory.

STEP 1 Contact Kryptronic with your license key so that we can reset your license URL on our central registration server. You can use our standard free support form to do this. A request like “Please reset the license URL for key XXX. I am moving this install to production.” will suffice.

STEP 2 From within the root web directory, create a directory named ‘_ARCHIVE’ and move all of the files in the root web directory into it – with the exception of your ‘devel’ directory and a .htaccess file, if present.

STEP 3 Move everything from the ‘devel’ directory into the root web directory then delete the ‘devel’ directory.

STEP 4 Access your software installer and complete up through Step 5 (Registration Info & Encryption Key). Make sure you update your URLs and server paths as well as your cookie settings as needed. Submit Step 5 (Registration Info & Encryption Key) and make sure your registration is accepted, then close out the installer – there is no need to install/update any software.
